A former diveboat was sunken on Saturday in the waters of Kho Racha Yai. The vessel named “Harruby” was donated from the Departement of Marine Coastal Resources to create more artificial reef around the most popular divesite of Phuket. The 18 meter boat lies now on 25 metres at Ao Ten, one of the Bays at Racha Yai. The metal value of the ship is said to be 3 million Baht. Nice investment!
We hope that many fish and coral will soon find their new home “at Harruby” and that one of our most famous divesites will be even more attractive!
