The first day in February saw the start of a new adventure for Sea Bees Diving. In addition to the two existing dive centres in Chalong, Phuket and Khao Lak, a new dive centre opened at the JW Marriott Hotel in the north of Phuket Island.
This 5 Star beach front property enables Sea Bees Diving to offer guests the usual high standard of dive training, that Sea Bees has become famous for.
The new dive centre location opens up a whole new area of dive sites. MV Aragon has also made the move north from Chalong and will provide divers with the perfect opportunity to enjoy comfortable and safe diving.
Certified divers can discover the local dive sites including the Aeroplane Park, an area where 4 US Dakota planes and 6 helicopters have been sunk specifically to create an artificial reef for divers to explore. Also a great advantage for us having a fast, luxury dive boat such as the MV Aragon close to JW Marriott is the prospect of exploring and discovering unknown dived sites. The team at Sea Bees is excited about the opportunity to find out about new coral reef around Phuket. Dive sites, that have until now been unreachable for divers. The only sea transportation operating up on the north-west coast have been small, open boats (so called Longtail boats).
Nobody knows what fantastic new dive sites may be out there. These are exiting times, we will keep you posted about new discoveries.
