Last week Sea Bees Diving invited 20 children from Phuket Sunshine Village for a day trip to Koh Maiton and Coral Island.
The Phuket Sunshine Village (PSV) is an orphanage and a safe place for a better future. The PSV Foundation was established by Child Watch Phuket and the Lions Club Phuket Andaman Sea after the Asian Tsunami in 2004. Sea Bees Diving is also a supporter of Phuket Sunshine Village, sponsored the building of one of the houses and is continuing to give support for the future of these children.
On Saturday the 17th of January at about 9:30 in the morning one of our day trip boats, MV Aragon, departed from Chalong Pier and headed towards Koh Maiton for an exciting day of snorkelling and canoeing. For Sea Bees Diving it was important to make sure that the children have a great day and learn something about the environment as well.
The children enjoyed a whole day of canoeing, swimming, snorkelling and really good fun. The day after, we received some very nice thank-you notes from our young guests; here you can read how they have experienced their day.
” I am very glad for travelling with the Boat of Sea Bees Diving. I have seen very beautiful corals. This was the first time i saw corals. And we have to take care of it. I felt never happier before.”
