Once in a while, we will be going to check up on Matthew, our DM trainee, to see how he is getting on with Pam, his extremely capable instructor. He doesn’t know when he is going to be visited upon by me and my camera. So how’s he doing at the end of Day 4? Well, it seems he found me instead.
I got a call about a “dead body” in the equipment room. Could I come down NOW? This is what I found…
Looks like Matthew – except he’s a bit shorter! What? Horizontal after only 4 days!?!?!?!
“Pam, what have you done to him?”
“Hmmm, resting in this position sounds to me like the Parrot Sketch from Monty Python!”, I said. (For those not in the know, the parrot was dead!)
“He did his swim test today and one exam. In fact, he’s a great student!”
Pam replied: “Yep, but he did about 2 Student Union Parties in one day and that can be a little tiring! Don’t worry, he’s young! A good night’s sleep and he’ll be fine.
